De-coupling is the transition from partnership to other. It can look like a break-up, a divorce, being ghosted, or a conscious amicable dissolution. In polyamory, decoupling offers us many possibilities as well as many challenges.
Poly Pages is facilitating a global live event, featuring three polyamorous, seasoned sex and relationship coaches: Andy Adams, Evita Sawyers and Sydeny Raechin. This global event promises to outline the common reasons for a polyamorous dyad to de-couple, the niche issues faced in polyamorous break-ups, as well as skills and scripts designed to help you and those you love de-couple in healthy, productive and supported ways. |
Decolonize Non-Monogamy (a limited series)TBC 2021 |
Polyamory is not American, and it's not white!. But you could be forgiven for thinking that. Modern academic research into non-monogamy tends to be USA-centric, generic media representations of polyamory tend to be white, and plenty of polyamorous community spaces hold implicit racial bias.
This limited series takes an unflinching look at the ways non-monogamy looks around the world. Follow Claire, as she is joined by researchers, specialists and previous partners to talk about how non-monogamy might look without a colonial lens, including historical roots, social norms, and culture-specific dynamics. |
